100% Recycled sunglasses made from ocean & landfill plastic

Unisex sunglasses, many colours and lenses to choose from.

Our glasses really are a load of rubbish.

Each pair is made from 6 to 8 cups of reclaimed and recycled plastic that was thrown away as rubbish.

Reefyll also know that the rubbish brought to us for making these fantastic sunnies helps families who have very little, and that can't be a bad thing.

1st we collect the rubbish.

We buy bags of reclaimed plastic from families in Bali who take the time to bring it to us for recycling.

Then we filter the plastic.

Not all plastic is the same, so we have to make sure we filter out the stuff we can use.

And then the magic.

Our skilled team take the plastic and make unique and individual pairs of sunglasses for you. Each pair is trully unique and can't be copied.

Triacetate Cellulose Polarized Lenses

Thes lenses are made from biodegradable celluslose, the same material used in film and screens. Sourced from cotton, these lenses offer optical clarity similar to glass, and are impact resistant similar to polycarbonate.

Superior UV & Blue Light Protection

Most lenses offer some UV protection, but ours go further with UV400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA & UVB rays. As the protection is embedded in the lenses, it wont wear off over time.

Sustainable development goals - What and why?

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of global goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030.

We are proud to say we achieve 7 of the 17 goals. they are listed below for those interested, we certainly are.

SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth:

We create job opportunities in waste management, collection and processing, contributing to sustainable economic growth.

SDG 9 - Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure:

Our recycled plastic products supports innovation in sustainable materials and contributes to building more resilient and environmentally friendly infrastructure.

SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production:

Our Recycled  plastic  products  promotes  sustainable  consumption  and  production  by  reducing  the demand for new raw materials, thus minimizing environmental impact.

SDG 13 - Climate Action:

Our recycled plastic produtcs helps mitigate climate change by reducing the need for the production of new plastics, which often involves energy-intensive processes and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions.

SDG 14 - Life Below Water:

By preventing the creation of new plastic and minimizing plastic waste, our recycled plastic products contributes to protecting marine life and ecosystems from the harmful impacts of plastic pollution.

SDG 15 - Life on Land:

Recycling  plastic  reduces  the  pressure  on  land  ecosystems  and  helps  combat  desertification  by  minimizing  the extraction of raw materials for new plastic production.

SDG 17 - Partnerships for the Goals:
